Note :
Must be handled with extreme care since both the liquid and the vapor are very poisonous and can be absorbed through the skin. It is used in organic synthesis and has some specialized medical applications. The nitrogen mustard class of compounds, also of special medical use, is related to mustard gas that the sulfur of the latter is replaced by replaced by an anmino nitrogen, e.g. (CICH2CH2)2NCH3.
