Terms indicating the degree of adhesion of a feature to the encasing soil material (used for the description of e.g. cutans, glaebules and pedotubules): discrete, weakly adhesive, moderately adhesive, strongly adhesive.
Kinds of pedotubules according to internal fabric: aggrotubule, lowstructure, chamber pedotubules, cleavage striotubule, compound pedotubule, fragmotubule, granotubule, isotubule, modexotubule, scatotubule, scato-striotubule, segmented isotubule, segmented striotubule, striotubule.
Other important characteristics of pedotubules are: the composition of the plasma, external form (e.g. branching patterns) and distinctness.
