Auteur : Lalonde, Louise S.,Définition
The graph of a cumulative (frequency or percentage) normal distribution, obtained by plotting the cumulative frequencies or percentages corresponding to the class boundaries and connecting successive points with straight lines. Since most ogives met in practice have the general shape of an elongated letter S, they are also referred to as sigmoids.
Note :
The cumulative frequency curve is sometimes known as an ogive, a name introduced by Galton, because the distribution curve of a normal function is of the ogive shape; but not all distribution curves have this form and the term ogive is better avoided or confined to the normal or nearly-normal case.

- ogive
- Galton ogive
