Auteur : Lalonde, Louise S.,Définition
A symmetrical frequency distribution with a degree of concentration decentralized from the mode to both tails of the frequency curve (a flat-topped curve)
Note :
((...)) there are differences ((in)) the degree of peakedness ((kurtosis)) among different distributions. ((...)) kurtosis is measured with reference to the peakedness of the normal distribution, which is of "intermediate peakedness"; that is, the normal curve is mesokurtic. A distribution with a flat top is called platykurtic ((...)).

- platykurtic distribution
- platykyrtic distribution
