Définition

Group of typefaces having an abrupt contrast between thin and thick. The axis of the curves is vertical; the serifs of the ascenders of the lower-case are horizontal and there are often no brackets to the serifs.

Note :

((Didones)) include the Didot types and the Bodoni types. They are Transitionals with rectilinear serifs, to which belong Egmont, Promotor, Orator, Arsis, Juno, Visite, Gras Vibert, Walbaum, Corvinus, Normande. Formely called Modern.
