Définition :
Angle entre la droite joignant le centre du disque solaire au point d'observation et le plan horizontal passant par le point d'observation.
Note :
Dans le même système de coordonnées célestes horizontales, l'azimut est l'angle entre le plan vertical passant par le soleil et le plan vertical donnant le sud; l'azimut permet de repérer la trace du soleil dans le plan horizontal.

Note :
In the same system of horizontal celestial coordinates, the azimuth is the angle formed by the vertical plane passing through the sun and north-south vertical plane. The azimuth enables the path of the sun to be transferred to the horizontal plane.
