Any application of television that does not involve broadcasting for public viewing. Theater television and industrial television are examples. The programs can be seen only on specified receivers connected to the television camera by circuits that may or may not include microwave relays and coaxial cables. ((It is)) used also to permet large groups of medical students or doctors to watch surgical operations.
