  Définition

  When the effects of a drug are only temporary and the tissue returns to its normal activity the drug is eliminated, the action is said to be reversible.

  Note :

  Another important consideration is reversibility of action (...) we shall desire agents which do not permanently alter the physiology of any part of the body, that is, agents whose action on the body is reversible.
