Date :Définition
A method of arranging jobs into various categories or classes in a particular company or industry.
Arrangement of tasks in an establishment or industry into a limited series of job or occupations, rated in term of skill, responsibility, experience, training, and similar considerations, usually for wage, setting purposes.
The process of describing the duties, responsibilities, and characteristics of a job, point-rating it (sometimes through the use of formulas based on time studies of workers already in such jobs), and then grouping the jobs into graduated classifications with corresponding wage rates and wage ranges.
A grouping of jobs with similar content, responsibilities, requirements, etc., into classes or grades normally having similar rates of pay.Notes :
This term, or job class, may also be used in reference to a single cluster of jobs of approximately equal "worth".
The arrangement may be based on requirements such as training, experience, or skill. The grouping is designed to bring together occupations with characteristics sufficiently clear to distinguish them from those in other classes. The wage compensation usually parallels the requirements of the job and is based on progressively higher skills, experience, training, or other factors required in the job. When related jobs are placed into classes, they may be assigned to labor grade groups with specific single rates or rate ranges which have a minimum and maximum for each labor grade.Terme :
