Note :
Il existe deux types de tube cathodique, ceux dit à écran rémanent sur lesquels la luminosité dure un certain temps permettant à l'opérateur de suivre l'image, et ceux dont l'écran ne reste lumineux que pendant la durée de l'impulsion.

A type of oscilloscope which stores the dots from the scintillation camera long enough for an image to form on a screen.

A special monitor display cathode-ray tube is used with scintillation cameras called a "persistence oscilloscope". This display has the unique feature of being able to "store" the dots from the scintillation camera long enough for an image to form on the screen.
