Définition :
Crise partielle débutant par une déviation tonico-clonique des yeux, accompagnée d'une rotation de la tête dans la même direction, suivie parfois d'une rotation du tronc, provoquant un véritable enroulement du corps sur l'axe.
Note :
Lorsque la rotation ou déviation se produit du côté opposé à l'hémisphère qui décharge, on parle de crise contraversive. Lorsque la rotation s'effectue vers le même côté, on parle de crise ipsiversive.

Partial seizure beginning with a tonic-clonic version of the eyes, accompanied by a rotation of the head in the same direction, sometimes followed by a rotation of the trunk, leading to a genuine coiling-up of the body around its axis.
Note :
When the eyes, head or trunk turn towards the side opposite the discharging hemisphere, the seizure is called "contraversive seizure". When they turn towards the site of the discharging hemisphere, the seizure is called "ipsiversive".
