  Cetearyl Alcohol ((...)) condensed with an average of twenty moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.

  Notes :

  A white or off-white, wax-like solid which is soluble in water.
  
  This excellent nonionic oil-in-water emulsifier is stable over a wide pH range and has excellent all-round compatibility, which account for its use as a pharmaceutical emulsifier.
