Primary renal tubular acidosis due to bicarbonate wastage resulting from a defect in the proximal tubules and characterized by low bicarbonate Tm, increased splay, or both.
Note :
The condition may appear as an isolated defect or as part of Fanconi's syndrome. Clinical manifestations are those of primary RTA (2738.0y).
