gain relatif d'une antenne
- Domaine

Note :
Terme :
- gain relatif d'une antenne n. m.

The power gain in a given direction when the reference aerial is a loss-free half-wave dipole, the equatorial plane of which contains that direction.
Notes :
The ratio of the power gain referred to an isotropic radiator and that referred to a half-wave dipole is 2.15 decibels.
The gain of aerials for which ground reflection is important is customarily referred to either a vertical or horizontal half-wave dipole at a height equal to the average height of the aerial, and in such cases attention should be called to the fact that the reference aerial is not isolated in space.Terme :
- power gain referred to a half-wave dipole
