Définition :
Tourbillons horizontaux créés dans le sillage d'aéronefs à voilure fixe et tournante en vol.
Note :
Dans certaines conditions atmosphériques, cet air turbulent peut être projeté vers le sol et affecter le comportement du feu. Un petit incendie ou une portion de périmètre d'incendie peut s'enflammer subitement, en particulier si la vitesse du vent est faible et qu'il existe une atmosphère instable.

Horizontal whirlwind(s) created in the wake of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft that are in flight.
Note :
Under certain atmospheric conditions, this turbulent air can be projected to the ground and in turn adversely affect fire behaviour. A small fire or segment of a fire perimeter can unexpectedly flare up, particularly if the wind speed is light and an unstable atmosphere exists.
