Période à l'intérieur d'un court horizon de planification durant laquelle les conditions forêt-météo prévues se trouvent à l'intérieur des valeurs prédéterminées dans le but de procéder à un brûlage dirigé.
Note :
Tient compte habituellement des conditions atmosphériques comme l'indice de propagation initiale ainsi que des caractéristiques liées au dessèchement du combustible, comme l'indice du combustible disponible.
