Définition

A coal tar dye used as coloring matter in carbonated beverages, gelatin desserts, dry drink powders, candy and confectionery products that do not contain oils and fats, bakery products, cereals, puddings, and tablets.

Note :

May cause allergic reactions. Rated 1A by the World Health Organization-acceptable in food on the FDA provisional list of approved color additives.
