By goverment definition, tobacco having a diversity of contrasting colors or tints, other than green, within a leaf; or leaves which are in part distinctly gray, mottled, bleached, stained or doty-faced; or leaves which in part have bee badly discolored in the curing process by scalding, scorching, etc. Also leaves which do not blend with the colors established for the type, or a lot of tobacco containing 30% or more of variegated leaves.
