A framework for the analysis of production in a producing unit (firm, industry, economy) whose activities constitute a set of interdependent processes. The processes are interdependent in that the output of one process is used as an input into another. Each process is represented by a column showing the quantities of different inputs required per unit of output.
Note :
This framework can be used to trace the effects of change in final demand for the output of one process on output levels of all the interdependent processes.
