  Définition

  The original name for the US Virginia tobaccos, dried by a special method (flue-cured) with the best qualities originating, from North and South Carolina and Virginia.

  Note :

  Other Virginia origins are in tobacco often called "substitutes" although in some respects they are similar to the USA Virginia. They are used for Virginia and blended cigarettes and for the so-called smoking mixtures (pipe mixtures). Apart from home market requirement, there is a large export trade into all parts of the world including Britain, Germany, Japan and Holland.
