A group of semi-terrestrial humus forms which are characteristized micromorphologically by blackish or dark grey organic matter consisting of strongly decomposed coalesced remnants of excrements of aquatic animals. If present, mineral grains are intensively mixed with the humus.
Notes :
Anmoor are in general "active" humus forms (as opposed to peat moors), with characteristics intermediate between those of gyttja and mull. Several intergrades occur.
