Définition :
Chez le jeune embryon, membrane qui relie le tube cardiaque à la paroi thoracique (mésocarde ventral ou antérieur) et à l'intestin (mésocarde dorsal ou postérieur).
Note :
Tandis que le mésocarde ventral disparaît immédiatement après sa formation, le mésocarde dorsal persiste plus longtemps.

Note :
Dorsal mesocardium, the temporary dorsal mesentery of the heart in the embryo; its site is represented by the transverse sinus of the pericardium. Ventral mesocardium, a mesentery attacking the heart to the ventral body wall; it is scarcely represented in human development.
