  Définition

  That property of a sheet of paper (or other material) which causes it to accept an ink film in a printing process. Wetting of the surface by the ink is essential and in many cases the absorbeny for the ink vehicule is important.
  
  The ink receptivity of paper may be descubed as its ready capacity to accept the transfer of inks from printing surfaces.
