Note :
Par exemple, privation des joies découlant d'une activité intellectuelle, culturelle, sportive ou sociale; ennuis, inconvénients, frustrations résultant d'une atteinte à l'intégrité corporelle d'une personne.

Loss or reduction of a plaintiff's mental or physical capacity to do the things he used to do, suffered as a result of personal injuries.
Note :
In actions for personal injuries the plaintiff may recover damages for loss of amenities, in addition to his financial losses and an award for pain and suffering. Thus loss of the ability to play games or a musical instrument, if these were the plaintiff's hobbies, will be taken into account in fixing damages.
