  A primary division or subkingdom of Plantae that comprises all plants producing an embryo and developing vascular tissues and includes all plants except the myxophyta and tallophyta.

  Note :

  These plants are grouped together because they all have an embryonic stage that is dependant on the parent plant for a greater or lesser period.
