At different times, the term has been used to describe a considerable variety of structures made from different natural fibres.
It is now used to describe a class of heavily wefted fabrics (usually made from cotton) of which Swansdown, Imperial Sateen, Beaverteen, Moleskin, Velveteen, and Corduroy and examples (q,v,).
The fustian of today has changed much from the original material and implies, as a generic term, the rather high pick, heavy cotton goods on the order of beaverteen, corduroy, doeskin, moleskin, and velveteen.Terme :
