Date :Définition
A term used in metallurgy and glass technology to indicate the lowest melting point attainable with a solution of two or more components by varying the percentage of the components.
Note :
For example, an alloy or solid solution which melts at a lower temperature than any other alloy of the same metals is called a eutectic alloy. The few eutectic alloys that exist form a group of so-called fusible alloys, some of which melt as low as 60 °C (140 °F).
