Caractère d'un cas soumis à un arbitre ou à un tribunal d'arbitrage qui rend possible son examen et un jugement.
Note :
L'arbitrabilité provient du fait que tout litige soulevé par un travailleur, un employeur ou un syndicat n'est pas nécessairement résolu par l'arbitrage : tout dépend s'il s'agit d'un cas prévu, explicitement ou implicitement, dans la convention collective qui seule détermine, en définitive, l'étendue de la compétence de l'arbitre.
