Définition :
Groupe de maladies malignes caractérisées par la multiplication anormale des lymphocytes, avec ou sans passage de ceux-ci dans le sang. Il comprend essentiellement les lymphosarcomes, la macroglobulinémie de Waldenström, la leucémie lymphoïde chronique, la leucémie à tricholeucocytes.

The lymphoproliferative disorders comprise a group of malignant neoplasms arising from cells related to the common multipotential, primitive lymphoreticular cell that includes among others the lymphocytic, histiocytic, and monocytic leukemias, multiple myeloma, plasmocytoma, Hodgkin's disease, all lymphocytic lymphomas, and immunosecretory disorders associated with monoclonal gammopathy. An interrelationship with the myeloproliferative disorders is thought to exist.
