  Définition

  When the cut operator is used in a PROLOG program in such a way that the order of the clauses becomes important in some new way, then the use is said to be a red cut.

  Note :

  The significance of a red cut is that it undermines one's ability to form a declarative interpretation of a PROLOG program and forces one to think of the program in procedural terms.
