Définition :
Dans le cadre d'un brûlage dirigé, zone présentant des conditions de peuplement et de combustible suffisamment homogènes pour pouvoir faire l'objet d'un seul et même type de brûlage (uniforme).
Note :
Les dimensions de tels blocs sont très variables; au minimum elles doivent permettre des prix de revient à l'unité de surface acceptables; le maximum correspond à ce qui peut être traité sans danger en une seule opération de brûlage.
