An ultrasonography in which the echoes are displayed in the amplitude mode.
Note :
Amplitude modulation ultrasonography. A type of ultrasound scanning in which echoes are represented on an oscilloscope trace, the distance between echogenic interfaces being represented by the distance between blips, and the strength of the echo being represented by the height of the blip. This mode is used in echoencephalography.
